Dust off your B-52’s record – Coles is cutting the price of Australian rock lobsters just in time for Christmas

It's the most wonderful – and most luxe – time of the year, especially when it comes to eating. The next few days are set to be filled with an abundance of fancy feasts and, if you're a big fan of shellfish, you can make them even fancier without having to shell (get it?) out the big bucks. From today, Wednesday December 22, Coles is cutting the price of its Western Australian rock lobsters nationwide, just in time to satisfy your Christmas cray-vings.

If you’ve been dreaming of an ultra-luxe Christmas, then Santa has certainly got you on his good list this year. As of today, Wednesday December 22, Coles is selling delectable Western Australian rock lobsters for a just $22 a pop, Australia wide. Plus, for the first time ever, selected stores across the country will also be offering Western Australian rock lobster tails and extra-large rock lobsters, at $22 and $50 each respectively.

Excited for lobster but not sure what to do with it? We’ve got you covered. Find out how to poach a lobster here, or how to grill them with a delicious saltbush butter for a total tastebud sensation. You could also serve up crowd-pleasing hot buttered lobster rolls, or really amp up the indulgence with this lobster mac ‘n’ cheese. If you’re partial to pasta, we highly recommend this lobster ravioli with horseradish butter, or cater for the forecasted hot day with this lobster salad. Either way, it promises to be a shell of a time. Okay, we’ll stop now.
