The Cheese Riot is causing a commotion with its delicious artisanal delivery service

Here at The Weekend Edition, we straight up love us some cheese. We’re crazy for cheddar, gaga for gouda and bonkers for brie – any way you want to give it to us, we’ll be thrilled. You might say that cheese incites a certain fire within us … something worth fighting for, for sure. If there were ever a riot we would get behind, it would be one dedicated to our all-time favourite animal by-product. The Cheese Riot is dedicated to bringing you a highly local and personal cheese experience, delivered directly to your door.

Anna Perejma, founder of The Cheese Riot, really knows her stuff when it comes to the world of Australian cheese. Born from Anna’s true passion for Australian cheeses, The Cheese Riot is a direct link between the producer and consumer. Whilst our local cheese is amongst the best in the world, it can be pretty darn tricky to find and is often made in small batches. This is where The Cheese Riot comes in – they connect directly with farmers and producers around Australia, sourcing products directly from local and ethical businesses and then delivering them to households around the country.

So how do you get down with the cheese? Every month in a no-commitment subscription, avid connoisseurs of the good stuff can receive one of two delicious options – the Give Me Cheese box for $89 or the Give Me Premium Cheese box for $129. Both feature a carefully curated selection of cheese paired with artisan accompaniments, with the premium offering featuring some smaller batches of hard-to-find cheeses as well. The accompaniments will rotate monthly along with the cheeses, with the aim to get your tastebuds around new and interesting combinations that you may not have thought of before.

Interested? Of course you are. You can order for the next cycle of The Cheese Riot’s cheese boxes through the official website.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Gold Coast dining guide with more than 870 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
