Cali Beach is unlike anything we’ve ever seen here on the coast and indeed Australia. The incredible beachside venue encompasses four glistening pools, VIP cabanas, countless sun lounges shaded by Veuve-orange umbrellas, two world-class restaurants, multiple bars, volleyball facilities and even an outdoor moonlight cinema – seriously, it’s Disneyland for grown-ups! Excited? You should be. Perched four stories above street level on the corner of Surfers Paradise Boulevard and Elkhorn Avenue, Cali Beach is accessed via a pretty impressive 26-person glass elevator – and folks, that’s just the beginning. Not only is Cali Beach one of the most luxurious rooftop bars – well, rooftop precincts – it is undoubtedly the largest, sprawling 5000 sun-soaked square metres and boasting spectacular views over Surfers Paradise beach and the surrounding skyline.
The venue’s opening line-up of entertainment has been unveiled and features the likes of mash-up legends Hot Dub Time Machine, Sneaky Sound System, The Stafford Brothers, Tigerlily, Bag Raiders, Will Sparks plus more. Take a peek at the calendar here. Details on the food offering are being kept under wraps for the moment, but we’re told to expect some pretty impressive things including a world-class Japanese eatery. Entry to Cali Beach is free however those keen to skip the queue can purchase express entry or, for a total baller experience, book a VIP area, which includes the daybeds, booths and cabanas. Cali Beach is the vision of Artesian Hospitality, which is one of the country’s largest hospitality groups. We’re going to call it now, Cali Beach will be the place for summer sips and dips.
Cali Beach will be open to the public on Friday September 24 at 5:00 pm. The official opening celebrations will kick off poolside on Saturday September 25 at 11:00 am sharp.
