Palm Beach burger joint Burgster launches Sunday brunches featuring fried-chicken waffles and bloody Marys

Burgster in Palm Beach is known for slinging some of the Gold Coast's finest burgers. While locals go crazy for its stacked creations, which are piled high with mouth-watering fillings like crispy buttermilk chicken, grass-fed beef, house-smoked brisket and deep-fried bug tails, the team is flipping the script to bring us something new and utterly delicious – Sunday brunches. If you like the sound of waking up to fried-chicken waffles and bloody Marys, read on.

Burgster’s brand-new brunch service sees the famed southern burger joint swing open its doors from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm on Sundays (for the first time ever) to dish up a finger-licking daytime feast that’s well and truly worth rolling out of bed for. The brunch menu is brimming with comforting mid-morning eats like eggs Benedict with crispy bacon atop a potato stack, Southern-style fried-chicken waffles with cream and maple syrup, open-faced BLT burgers, and grilled whole mushrooms with truffle hollandaise sitting pretty on Burgster’s shiny buns. For those who simply can’t decide between sweet and savoury, the fluffy waffles loaded with crispy maple bacon and caramelised banana will hit the spot.

In true Burgster style, oysters will also feature in the Sunday-morning brunch line-up – have them tempura style with bloody Mary mayo (yum) or tuck into a dozen natural oysters smothered in a punchy bloody Mary sauce (also yum). Oh, and speaking of bloody Marys – the bar will be slinging booze for the service, with bloody Marys, mimosas and bottomless filter coffees served all day long. What more could you want on a Sunday morning? Burgster brunches have kicked off and run every Sunday from 10:00 am. Be sure to check out Instagram for weekly brunch specials as well.
