Seductive sips – savour the fruity flavours of Brookie’s Byron Slow Passion Gin

Whenever we catch wind that the flavour experts at Cape Byron Distillery have whipped up a new product, our ears prick up with excitement. So you could say that we were pretty thrilled to learn that they have released a new fruity concoction, the Brookie’s Byron Slow Passion Gin. Pumped full of Davidson plums and locally sourced passionfruit, this is one divine drink worth sampling.

The innovative crafters behind Byron Bay-born Brookie’s Gin strive to use 100 percent natural ingredients in all of their creations, and their newest release is no exception. Described as tart, tangy and fruity, Brookie’s Byron Slow Passion Gin bottles some of the best flavours and native ingredients grown in the Northern Rivers of New South Wales. The delicious and innovative sip is created over several months by macerating the indigenous Davidson plums and locally sourced ‘Sweetheart’ passionfruit from Terania Creek Passionfruit, a family-run farm in the Byron hinterland.

A taste of this tangy tipple will soak your tastebuds with fresh plum, passionfruit, raspberry and citrus as well as the smoothness of a crisp rainforest gin bottled at 26-percent ABV. A bottle of Brookie’s Byron Slow Passion Gin is $70 and can be snagged here. We suggest getting in quick though, as only 1500 bottles of this juicy beverage have been created! If you need some cocktail ideas, pop over here for some ripper recommendations.
