Bondi’s cult Bennett St Dairy cookie dough has hit the shelves at Woolworths

Our palms are sweaty, our knees are weak and our mouths are watering – no we aren't listening to Eminem, we've just caught wind that Bondi's cult Bennett St Dairy cookie dough is now available to snag in Queensland. Eager to learn where you can get your hot little hands on this decadent dough? We've got all of the chocolate-chip-filled deets ...

Great news cookie monsters – Bondi’s famous Bennett St Dairy cookie dough isn’t a flight away anymore, with the much-adored treat landing in Woolworths across the country. The DIY dough started off as a side hustle born in the first March 2020 lockdown, when co-founders James Meek and Cliff Baskin came up with the idea of selling leftover cookie dough from what was their weekend food-prep fridge in the Bondi cafe, Bennett St Dairy. Pre-pandemic, the cookies already had a devoted following of Sydney folk (the cafe would sell well over 400 cookies per week!), and with the ability to now order the dough and make it at home, the adoration for these ooey-gooey goodies continued to grow. With a frenzied social media fandom behind them, the cookies reached cult-level status, and everyone wanted a bite.

From there, the small Bondi family-owned cookie business has gone on to collaborate with iconic brands like Ben & Jerry’s and Darrell Lea. What comes next? A nation-wide Woolworths rollout, naturally. Mere weeks ago, Bennett St Dairy cookie dough landed in 600 Woolies across Australia. You can nab 500g of the delicious dough in two moreish flavours – original choc-chip and white-chocolate and macadamia. The ready-to-make dough can make up to eight regular cookies and is just $13 a roll. Firing up the oven already? Be sure to pop to your local Woolworths to pick up some Bennett St Dairy cookie dough before you lay out the baking paper.
