Ready your stretchy pants – Bazaar Restaurant reopens after a six-month hiatus

One of the best (and most enjoyable) things about travelling to far away places is immersing yourself in new cultures and experiencing a variety of different cuisines. If you've been missing overseas adventures, do yourself a favour and book a table at the new-look Bazaar Restaurant at QT Gold Coast. After a (long) six-month hiatus, the global marketplace is back with a COVID-safe new twist so go ahead and prepare your tastebuds for a tasty treat.

Rather than kicking back on their laurels waiting for restrictions to ease, the team at Bazaar began to reimagine the dining experience for when they would be permitted to open again post-COVID. Well friends, that day has arrived and the crew has unveiled some spiffy new restaurant upgrades alongside some exciting new interactive food marketplaces – think build-your-own-baos, customised stir-fry stations and build-your-own dessert (which is every bit as dangerous and delicious as it sounds). You can even select your own seafood from the day’s catch or opt for a tasting plate pre-filled with oysters and prawns to get you started.

To comply with the new rules and regs, a glass window has been installed, which borrows design inspiration from the street-food markets in Scandinavia. The upside for you is that each station is manned by one of the venue’s insanely talented chefs so you have the opportunity to interact one-on-one as they dish up your plate – you can ask questions about the produce and its origins and it allows the team to better cater to your specific dietary requirements. If you’ve not yet had the pleasure of eating your way around the world at the new-look Bazaar Restaurant, jump over here to make a booking.

Bazaar Marketplace is open from Thursday to Sunday, for specific times, head over to our Stumble Guide.

The Stumble Guide is our comprehensive Gold Coast dining guide with more than 870 places to eat, drink, shop and play.
