Get a spring in your step as you strut out the door with your very own handmade bag at The Craft Parlour’s Weave a Raffia Bag Workshop on Sunday October 27. Get lost in three-hours of playing with raffia as Charlotte Lynn Holyoak from Hatitude instructs you in making an el naturale raffia bag! It’s super easy to make and requires no previous sewing or plating experience – you’ll also learn to make a four plait braid in the process. The braiding rhythm is so meditative.

Each student will take home their own ‘natural’ raffia bag with beautiful, stylish handles. You will also go home with the knowledge of how to dye the raffia should you want to make a bag to match every dress because you’re totally going to want to!
