SmokeFest GC is an idea born of a love for all things barbecue, food and drink. Showcasing the best of the Gold Coast’s local restaurants and producers, SFGC will bring a weekend full of delicious food and barbecue, amazing craft beer and spirits, local wine producers and an awesome array of live entertainment.

Featuring the Gold Coast’s only professional barbecue competition, there will be a focus on low’n’slow style smoked barbecue, with plenty of fun to be had for the whole family. Come and watch over 30 competitive barbecue teams fight it out for the title of the inaugural SmokeFest GC Grand Champion!

The event will promote the best local food and drink producers from the Gold Coast and surrounding regions, featuring boutique offerings from a wide range of categories.  You’re encouraged to sample the many offerings of the day and discover just how much our beautiful region has to offer. This is an all ages, family friendly event, with activities to cater for even the youngest BBQ lover! Check out the kids section for some of the awesome free activities available on the day.
