Australia Fair Shopping Centre is set to inspire the next generation of scientists and craft enthusiasts with a range of out-of-this-world workshops to be held throughout the school holidays.
Sure to excite and intrigue kids these school holidays, Street Science and Crafty Kids Corner workshops will be set up throughout January letting little ones embrace their inner science buff or show their best craft skills.
Whether they’ve got a keen eye for craft or are a science whizz, Australia Fair Shopping Centre has the kids covered with a vibrant series of free school holiday craft and science workshops guaranteed to tap their creative side.
The Street Science show runs from Monday January 8 to Saturday January 13 and is sure to entertain the budding scientist with displays of disappearing water and beautiful clouds, smoke rings plus a splash of magic.
Running from 10:30 am daily, the enchanting show will be followed by an interactive workshop where kids can try their hand at creating their own bouncy ball from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.
The Craft Parlour will awaken the inner DIY enthusiast with their inspiring hands-on workshops at the Crafty Kids Corner, teaching kids how to circular weave or make their own dreamcatcher.
The workshops are suitable for ages from 4 years, and form part of a program of diverse and creative summer school holiday activities presented by the new-look Australia Fair, guaranteed to keep small hands busy and fire young imaginations.
The Crafty Kids Corner will run from Monday January 15 to Friday January 19 with workshops daily at 10:00 am, 11:00 am and 12:00 noon.
