The Sugarshakers
Fronted by Singer/Songwriter (and Burlesque MC) Ella Fontaine, with Rupert Jenner on electric guitar, Toby Mellonie on double-bass, and a Billy Bakos driving drum beat, this four piece ‘filly-billy’ band is sweetening the palate of Bris-Vegas rockers. With their own high-energy brand of music, the Sugar Shakers represent the styles and sounds from the late forties to sixties.
B-Daddy and the Double D’s
B-Daddy & the Double D’s are a high energy Rockabilly band based on the Gold Coast and Brisbane. Taking influences from Stray Cats, Eddie Cochran, The Reverend Horton Heat, Dick Dale and The Brian Setzer Orchestra, B-Daddy & the Double D’s are highly capable to ‘Rock the house down’ or ‘Lighten thing up a little’ for those who just want to shake leg!
