If you’re looking for a family-friendly event on the Gold Coast to see in the New Year, head to the Varsity Lakes Waterfront for their free New Year’s Eve event.

Starting at 5:30 pm, the waterfront will be offering food, fun and fireworks until 8:30 pm. The live entertainment for the night will be provided by the Aussie Pride Band and an event after-party is planned at Hotel CBD Varsity Lakes.

This is a free event on Tuesday 31 December, perfect for something low-key for the whole family.
