European summer-inspired brunches – add this scenic event to your Autumn calendar

Surfers Paradise is iconic for many reasons - the sun, the sand, Cavill Mall and the myriad of characters that call the city home. While we love this iconic strip just as much as the next person, sometimes we crave a respite from the summer heat and bustling waves of tourists. Bonus points if you can still peep a panorama of the beach, sip on a tipple or two and enjoy a delicious meal. Enter Hyde Paradiso. This vibrant venue provides a European summer-themed oasis above the crowds of Surfers Paradise and is the perfect place to soak up some of the city's best views, bites and events during May and June.

If you haven’t had the pleasure of visiting Hyde Paradiso yet, let us provide a little introduction. Best described as the place to see and be seen by the sea, Hyde Paradiso is perched on level two of Peppers Soul on The Esplanade. This ideal location means you can hide away from the hustle and bustle of Surfers Paradise and take your pick from their menu full of Mediterranean-inspired tapas and handcrafted cocktails. Open daily for breakfast from 7:00 to 10:30 am, Friday to Saturday from 12:00 pm until late and on Sunday 12:00 – 4:00 pm, the scenic set-up is the perfect place to gather your mates and enjoy a spot of brunch, some Friday knock-off drinks, or a boogie with their guest DJs pumping out the latest beats long into the night. Aside from its regularly programmed plethora of delights, Hyde Paradiso has also decided to sprinkle its calendar with some events you won’t want to miss.

We must talk about their Beachside Brunch. Reserved for more than just your usual eggs benny and cappuccino catch-up, the Hyde Paradiso Beachside Brunch will act as a catalyst to a weekend spent eating, drinking and enjoying life’s pleasures. Every Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm, get ready to dine in delight as you devour the brunch menu of your dreams. We’re talking flavour-packed fare like eggs benny hash with truffle hollandaise and bacon relish, charred chicken and peach salad, pork belly and feta focaccia pizza, and popcorn prawns. On top of this, you can enjoy your choice of Chandon, Chandon Rose, tap beers and a mixed selection of spritzes all for $99. Vegan or vegetarian? Fear not! The chefs didn’t want you to miss out, so they crafted a full vegan menu, plus a non-alcoholic option for only $59. You can book a table for two to 30 people, making it perfect for dates with friends, hens, baby showers, bucks parties and birthdays. All you need to do is visit the Hyde website, reserve your table, and get ready to spend two hours dining in scenic delight! Now, of course, if two hours isn’t enough time to savour the delight that is Hyde Paradiso, you are still more than welcome to order as much as you want from the regular menu from 12:00 pm onwards.

Long story short, if you’re looking for a place to soak up the best of Surfers Paradise in Autumn, Hyde Paradiso should be at the top of your list.
