If the thought of kicking back with some live tunes and a couple of bevs whilst the kids play sounds like your ideal Sunday activity, get along to TM Sundays on Sunday October 25. The family friendly event is taking over Miami Marketta and will feature sets from Buttered, Tully John and Liza Jane and Bronte Eve alongside a mouth-watering selection of street food. The amazing Laurie Oxenford will be on-hand whipping up artistic masterpieces and there will be face painting, balloon art and skateboarding demos presented by Rock n Slide Skateboarding to keep the little ones amused. If you love a good rack rummage, there will also be some vintage stalls and pre-loved racks featuring Strange Days Store so you can bag yourself a bargain.
General admission tickets to TM Sundays are $24 for adults, $14.80 for kids aged five to 12 (under four is free) or there is a family pass available for two adults and two kids for $56.10. If you are super keen to make a day of it, there are some additional add-ons available including a skateboarding lesson for just $12 per person. Starting as young as three, the ticket includes all gear, boards, pads and helmets (closed in shoes must be worn), you never know, your kid could be the next Tony Hawk! If you can manage to peel away from the wee ones, escape to the Young Henrys Cave – a kid-free zone complete with games, activities and a beer on arrival, or pop in to the Gin Parlour for a Ginny Barnes board featuring an array of Australian gins accompanied beautifully with a cheese and antipasto platter. All sounds pretty great, right? Jump over here to nab your tickets.
