The vibes will be high at Garden Kitchen & Bar with each State of Origin game being broadcast on the massive outdoor screen! DJ Andrea Tenille, McKenzie Band, DJ Key and DJ James Canning are scheduled for State of Origin nights to keep the party going during and after the game, plus the Container Kitchen will be serving up specials alongside its drool-inducing menu favourites on the night. There’s plenty to choose from, like the chargrilled black Angus beef burger, which is loaded with a 100-percent black Angus patty, cheese, lettuce, tomato, pickles, caramelised onion and barbecue sauce on a milk bun, and can be teamed up beer-battered onion rings for a delicious $19 combo. Whether you choose to bring your family or friends, you can secure your very own picnic table ahead of time to make sure you’ve got prime position to take in the action. The $200 pre-payment for your picnic table can then be used for drinks and delicious bites for the table, but make sure you book early as tables are limited!
If you prefer to take in the action indoors with surround-sound and a ten-metre screen, then, footy-loving friends, you’re in luck. Head to Sports Bar and level up the luxury for State of Origin with your very own booth – well, yours to share among six to ten mates, if you’re feeling generous. For $850 you’ll get not only a plush spot to catch the game, but also a $400 bar tab, two All-Star Platters loaded with chicken wings, calamari, onion rings and chips, and two pizzas! Be quick though, as there are only three available on each night.
