[POSTPONED] Brand-new festival SPRINGTIME is bringing top-notch beachside beats to the coast

UPDATE Wednesday August 4: Due to COVID lockdowns across the country, SPRINGTIME music festival has been postponed to a later date. Say hello to SPRINGTIME, a brand new music festival coming to the coast this ... spring! Packed with good vibes and free (yep, you read that right) tunes, this is one festival you don’t want to miss.

As winter comes to a close and we begin to see glimpses of summer on the horizon, there’s nothing better to welcome the days of warmer weather and perfect party conditions than with a good old-fashion music festival. That’s why the arrival of SPRINGTIME in September is such perfect timing, and music lovers will be happy to hear that the inaugural festival is not only all ages but also free! Set across multiple outdoor stages in Surfers Paradise (with some ticketed side-shows hosted at partner venues), SPRINGTIME is bringing unmissable beachside beats to the coast, and we’re here for it.

SPRINGTIME‘s three-day line-up features some of Australia’s favourite acts and biggest party starters. The festival will kick off on Friday September 3, with Brisbane indie-rockers Ball Park Music and the psych-pop Psychedelic Porn Crumpets opening up the festival alongside some top-notch support acts. Next up on Saturday September 4, Hermitude will spin a guaranteed-to-be-cracking DJ Set, the much-loved dance icon Sneaky Sound System will take the stage, and the Gold Coast Music Awards will go down. Ruel will headline on the Sunday to close out the weekend and will be joined by Sycco, May-A, Budjerah and many more incredible acts – including a whole lot of local legends.
