The September edition of the Prosecco Long Lunch is well worth putting in your calendar, if only for an excuse to devour three taste bud-tantalising courses of Italian fare. The elegant event will see you and your crew take a seat at The Star’s impressive Italian restaurant, Cucina Vivo. You’ll be immediately poured a glass of Dal Zotto’s Pucino Prosecco, which will continue to flow for two and a half hours as your palate is pleased with an array of decadent dishes. The flavour-packed feast kicks off with a plate full of authentic antipasti delights like Calabrese salami, San Danielle prosciutto, mortadella, house-made pesto, olives, buffalo mozzarella, lemon-scented goats curd and toasted ciabatta. Then it’s time to gear up for a selection of substantial bites – think casarecce bolognese with 30-hour ragu in pomodoro sauce, rocket salad with parmigiano reggiano, pear and aged balsamic, and melt-in-your-mouth slices of capricciosa pizza topped with artichokes, mushroom, ham and olives.
As you continue to sip and savour your prosecco (which gives delicious hints of apple and pear), live tunes will fill the air. The three-course share-style Italian lunch will finish off on a sweet note with a drool-worthy panna cotta with macerated strawberries and biscotti. Ready to roll in with your prosecco-loving pals? Tickets are on sale for $99 per person plus booking fee.
Alert the group chat pronto as tickets are strictly limited for the September edition of Prosecco Long Lunch, so we recommend booking your seat at the table today!
