Anderson .Paak, Cardi B, The Flaming Lips, Ed Sheeran and so many more join together for PlayOn Fest this weekend

Before you start freaking out about corona crowds – calm down. PlayOn Fest is a virtual music festival, bringing together a stellar (and broad) selection of Warner Music Group artists and songwriters for three non-stop days of good times, in the comfort of your lounge room. It's all happening this weekend, from April 25–27.

The live-streaming event will bring together incredible high-energy footage, some extremely rare, of performances from stages around the world, allowing audiences to relive some unbelievable sets in a one-time-only live viewing event. PlayOn Fest will meld a variety of genres and shows – think artist sets from stages such as Coachella, Sydney Opera House, Lollapalooza, The O2 Arena and more. The line-up is MEGA and includes never-before-released on YouTube performances from the likes of Ed Sheeran, Nipsey Hussle, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Korn and more. Other featured performances include Janelle Monáe’s sensational 2019 Coachella performance, Cardi B’s show-stopping Global Citizen Festival performance in Central Park, The Flaming Lips’ iconic Sydney Opera House show, and Gary Clark Jr.’s latest headline appearance at Austin City Limits

The first-of-its-kind music festival will support the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund for the World Health Organization (WHO), powered by the UN Foundation. Warner Music Group is selling exclusive PlayOn Fest merch, the proceeds of which will be donated straight to the fund, plus viewers will be encouraged to click to donate throughout the three-day live-streamed event.

PlayOn Fest will kick off with LL Cool J this Saturday April 25 at 2:00 am AEST and will stream live for 72 hours straight until April 27, exclusively via Songkick’s YouTube channel.
