Kickstart your summer with Calvin Harris and Megan Thee Stallion at Festival X

The weather here on the Gold Coast has been somewhat gloomy of late, so we don't think we're alone in counting down to the glorious warmth of long summer days. Not only does summer bring picture-perfect escapes at the beach and a constant excuse to cool down with ice-cream or sneaky beverage, but it also welcomes a jam-packed festival schedule. The summer of 2022 is set to take festivals to another level, as international acts are finally ready to travel back to our shores and share their music with Aussie fans. Festival X is no exception to this rule, as organisers bring an epic lineup of electronic and hip-hop artists to the Gold Coast as part of the five-show national tour.

If we asked you to think of a festival anthem, chances are a Calvin Harris song would be near the top of your list. Hot on the heels of his fifth studio album announcement, Calvin is set to headline Festival X and start our summer with a bang. Joining him is none other than hip-hop superstar Megan Thee Stallion, who is heading down under for the first time and gearing up to make the most of her ‘hot girl summer’ in Australia. The jam-packed lineup doesn’t stop there – your ticket to Festival X will have you dancing to the likes of Don Toliver, Boys Noize, Green Velvet, Laude, Marlo, Nina Kraviz and more.

Presented by the founders of Stereosonic in conjunction with Live Nation, Festival X will be landing at Metricon Stadium in Carrara on November 27. Revellers can expect to see the stadium transform into a party of mammoth proportions, celebrating the very best of electronic dance and hip-hop music. The lineup of global superstars will be split across multiple handcrafted stages, meaning you’ve got plenty of opportunities to show off your festival ‘fit and dance the night away. If you’re keen to grab tickets to Festival X, head to the Festival X website and suss the full lineup.
