There’s no denying that April is going to be one of the most exciting months ever for the city – oh you know, just a little thing called the Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games, plus Festival 2018 and Bleach* Festival 2018 … hot damn! Anyway, we’re pretty delighted that, in true Gold Coast style, a street party has been thrown into the mix. So, what’s in store? Feast on Fifth will be like your classic Australian backyard party – a gathering featuring mates, tunes and mouth-watering eats.
The event will shine the light on Fifth Avenue in Palm Beach, with food-truck eats from The Collective, delicious paella from The Spanish, woodfired pizza by The Fire Inside (um, yes) and Spanish churros from Churros De Oro. Plus, the surrounding foodie businesses will be operating for the evening, adding sushi, Mexican, Indian, fish and chips, and coffee into the line-up. Food aside, for just a moment – there will also be a bunch of stellar live-music acts on the night, including Harry J Hart, Tully John & Liza-Jane, Leopold’s Treat and Casey Barnes. Feast on Fifth kicks off at 4:00 pm on Saturday March 31. Food, music and mates? We’re in.
