Factory Summer Festival is coming to Brisbane and the line-up is huge

In probably some of the most exciting news to be announced this year, a massive music event – Factory Summer Festival – has revealed it's heading to Brisbane with a jam-packed line-up of Australian musical talent. If everything goes to plan (we are crossing our fingers and toes), then this series of gigs will be here come December. Start planning your outfit pronto.

After serving up summer music goodness in Perth for three years, Ice Cream Factory Summer Festival is expanding into other states – and Brisbane is lucky to be one of them. Dropping the Ice Cream part of its name (it’s now just called Factory Summer Festival), the arts and music event will take over Victoria Parklands with a series of intimate gigs over three weeks from Friday December 11 to Thursday December 31.

Leading the roster of talent are festival favourites Confidence Man, The Presets, Peking Duk, Ruel and Vera Blue. The absolutely massive local line-up also includes Anna Lunoe, Benson, Cassian, Dirty South, Elise Keddie, Example, Graace Illy, Jess Kent, Jesswar, Lucille Croft, Motez, Nina Las Vegas, Northeast Party House, ShockOne, Stace Cadet, TRIPLETT and What So Not. The event promises to be COVIDSafe and if any of the concerts end up getting postponed, they will be moved to planned back-up dates with the option for a full refund if concert-goers can’t attend the secondary dates.

More acts will be announced soon, so stay tuned at the Factory Summer Festival website. If you’re super keen for a boogie (even if it’s while you’re seated) pop over here to register for pre-sale.
