Enjoy a sustainable festive feast at LOT TWO this Christmas Day

Let's be honest – a big part of Christmas Day is the food. Roast meats, piping-hot gravy, ice-cold prawns, crispy potatoes ... you know the drill. Though, if the thought of putting on an apron and slaving away in a hot kitchen makes you cringe a little inside, then perhaps it's time you let someone else do the hard work (and dishes) for you. If a sumptuous feast with locally sourced and sustainable produce sounds like your jam, then venture south to LOT TWO for a vibrant Christmas lunch with all of the tasty trimmings.

We all know that great food tastes even better with a stellar view (it’s true), so given LOT TWO’s pristine waterfront vistas over the Terranora Broadwater, you can expect some next-level deliciousness for your Christmas Day feast. You’ll be treated to an indulgent buffet, highlighted by the use of some of the region’s most celebrated produce alongside incredibly fresh seafood straight from the trawlers. LOT TWO is well known for its paddock-to-plate ethos, so you can pile your plate high knowing that everything on offer is local, ethical and sustainably sourced.

Expect fresh oysters, smoked salmon, trawler-fresh prawns, triple-smoked ham, succulent turkey and tender pork, all accompanied by colourful salads and hearty roast vegetables. It’s hard to save room for dessert, but seeing as it’s Christmas you’ll need to call on your second stomach (you know, where the sweets go) for the traditional trifle, passionfruit pavlova and steaming plum pudding. If you’ve got the kids in tow, they can burn off some adrenaline on the jumping castle while you relax and digest with a glass of bubbles on the waterfront. Santa will be swinging through from 12:45–1:45 pm (that’s daylight savings time, ya’ll), so be sure to get a selfie for some likeable Instagram content.

Head over here for more info and to book.

Note: seagulls is south of the border, so don’t forget the daylight savings time difference!
