Firstly, let us give you a friendly heads up – this event is back by popular demand. The first of Aviary’s bottomless brunch events is happening the weekend prior (April 6), but that sold out within mere days, so the team were forced to release a new date. So, if you missed out on the first one, then make sure you’re quick to book your seat(s) for the April 13 edition. If you’re wondering why this rooftop soiree is so popular, here’s a rundown. It kicks off at 11:00 am (pre-midday drinks for the win!) and runs until 1:00 pm, and during that time you’re invited to indulge in bottomless sips and moreish brunch-style eats. The brunch event includes free-flowing Prosesso, wine and beer, as well as the star of the show – custom spritzes! You’ll be able to create your own colourful, effervescent spritz from a selection of more than 21 different Mount Tamborine Distillery liqueurs and fresh-fruit garnishes.
While you’re sipping, a series of delicious brunch-style pizzas will be circulated – we’re talking croque madame pizzas lovingly drizzled with bechamel sauce, huevos rancheros pizzas topped with scrambled eggs and bacon, wild-mushroom and fennel-sausage pizzas with truffle tapenade (drool), as well as breakfast pizzas with chorizo, mushroom, egg and crispy maple bacon. Plus, there will be a grazing station full of brunch bites like breakfast sliders, Belgian waffles, fresh fruit, bircher pots and yoghurt jars. Seriously, what a spread. Oh, and the goodness doesn’t end there – you’ll also be treated to sweet live tunes outside at The Nest. Name a better way to spend your Saturday … we’ll wait.
