Alex, whose culinary credentials include the likes of Sydney’s Monopole and Cirrus Dining, will spend the day foraging in the Byron Bay hinterland with Harvest’s head chef Alastair Waddell and wild-food researcher Peter Hardwick. Alex and Alastair will then hit the kitchen and put their heads together to create a one-off menu to be served that evening.

While the menu won’t be determined until the day, you can expect to see both chefs unleash their creativity and experiment with the best of the Northern Rivers’ produce to develop an innovative five-course share-style feast that’s exclusive to the event. So, if you love what Alex does here on the Gold Coast, then wait and see what happens when he is let loose with Alastair Waddell in the Harvest kitchen.
