Maleny Lodge Maleny Lodge Maleny Lodge

Maleny Lodge takes heritage luxury to picturesque new heights

While modern architecture is certainly a sight to behold, there is something comforting about the old-style charm and sophistication of heritage houses. Historic Australian designs seemed to find the perfect balance of opulence and simplicity, layering the grandeur of heavyset custom cabinetry and claw-foot bathtubs against subtle backdrops that promote airy, naturally lit spaces. The Maleny Lodge is a picturesque heritage house built in 1905 that has recently been offered a new lease on life through thoughtful renovations. Full of luxury finishes and modern comforts, this superb renovation pays homage to the house's original charm and now offers travellers the perfect place to relax and enjoy the very best Maleny has to offer.

Originally called Rosedale, Maleny Lodge has provided lodging service for quite some time. In 2021 Andrew and Lucy Pink purchased the property, with grand plans to restore Maleny Lodge in all of its glory. Since the purchase, renovations have given the property a new lease on life, carefully retaining the charm of its original features while still adding modern comforts and touches of luxury. Maleny Lodge boasts four king ensuite guest rooms and a three-bedroom heritage house, blurring the line between a boutique hotel and holiday home. Each space has been designed to showcase the beautifully curated collection of vintage furniture and trinkets, with pillowy soft bedding that will make your stay a dream. The original part of the house, Rosedale, comes with a fully equipped country kitchen and a lounge area with a log fire, perfect for cosying up in winter with some nibbles and wine from any of the local producers. Last but certainly not least, all guests have access to the picturesque grounds, heated magnesium pool and woodland area.

This adults-only space offers guests a chance to breathe in the hinterland air, disconnect from everyday life, relax and rejuvenate in luxurious surroundings. Rooms can be booked individually, or you can exclusively hire out the whole of Maleny Lodge and accommodate up to 14 guests. In addition to accommodation, the Lodge’s beautiful grounds can play host to up to 50 guests for events, with owners providing a ‘blank canvas’ for you to transform to suit the needs of your occasion. During your stay at this luxurious heritage escape, we recommend heading into Maleny township, where you can stroll through artisan shops and indulge at charming cafes.

Treat yourself to a getaway and soak up the beauty of Maleny during a stay at this breathtaking little slice of heaven.
