The newly launched 63-storey tower will feature one-, two- and three-bedroom residential apartments across the upper 43 levels, and will include a two-level residents only recreation deck with a lap pool, barbecue areas, a sun lounge and yoga deck, a gym, and private dining rooms. The one-bedroom apartments, which will range in size from 55 sqm to 64 sqm, will be priced from $486,000, while the two bedders (from 71 sqm to 106 sqm), will be priced from $692,000. Three-bedroom apartments in the tower will set buyers back $1.295 million.
The 210 five-star hotel rooms will span 12 levels, and will sit atop a six-level retail concourse featuring amenities like a luxurious day spa and wellness centre, a cafe and wine bar with views to Broadbeach and Coolangatta, a nightlife venue, a fine-food market, as well as lifestyle services like boutique hair and nail salon, floral services and more. An additional sub-tropical recreation deck for use by residents and visitors will connect the tower to The Star Gold Coast, which will be complete with a lagoon pool, sundecks, private cabanas, alfresco dining areas and gardens. Construction is expected to commence in mid-2020, with completion anticipated for 2024. The launch follows the construction start of the first tower, which will feature a Dorsett hotel and a residential component known as The Star Residences Gold Coast. A further three towers are planned as part of the $2-billion-plus masterplan for Broadbeach Island by The Star Entertainment Group, Far East Consortium, and Chow Tai Fook Enterprises Limited.
