Satisfy your quirky side at Six Things’ new pop-culture store and espresso bar

Purveyors of all things cool, Six Things Shop, has made the shift from its premises at the Old Burleigh Arcade to a fabulous new 50s-style house in Tweed Heads. Well-known as the place to go when shopping for 'the person who was everything', the new Six Things showcases an expanded collection of its eclectic wares, accessories and gifts with a tasty new addition – coffee.

It’s hard to imagine all of your favourite things under one roof – but your dreams really will come true when you walk up the stairs to the impressive new Six Things Shop on Frances Street, which lies just a hop, skip and a jump from Coolangatta. If you fell in love with Six Things’ glorious treasure trove in Burleigh, then you’ll need to put some time aside to work your way through the new shop – this is a hefty step up in size. There’s a well-styled selection of homewares placed throughout rooms, which are filled with art, accessories, clothing, home decor and stationary. It’s difficult to put Six Things into a particular category, so just expect the most wonderfully whacky collection of pop-culture things, ever.

Luckily, owners Campbell and Jane know that Six Things is best explored with a coffee in hand – so they’ve incorporated an espresso bar into the new space. There’s a barista on site banging out cups of Supreme Coffee Roasters brews from Wednesday to Sunday, with plenty of seats and nooks to hang out and relax. You’ll find small bites and snacks, with a selection toasties to be offered over the coming month. Seriously, we cannot think of a better way to spend a weekend morning than getting lost in the goodness of Six Things with a coffee and toastie in hand.

You’ll find Six Things Shop’s new location and opening hours in our Stumble Guide.
