SPG Land unveils $800-million transformative project, Paradiso Place

If the number of cranes hovering above the city skyline is indicative of a city's economic pulse, the Gold Coast is thriving. This week, international developer SPG Land officially unveiled an eagerly anticipated mega-development known as Paradiso Place. The $800-million project is touted to become one of the largest residential resort projects ever undertaken on the Gold Coast and will reshape an entire block in the heart of Surfers Paradise.

Eager buyers have been quick to pounce on the first stage of Paradiso Place, which will inject 258 apartments across stage one of the project’s incredible three-tower precinct. Strategically positioned between JW Marriott Gold Coast Resort & Spa, Main Beach and the Surfers Paradise beachfront, the development is being hailed as a catalyst to activate the northern end of the suburb. Upon completion, Paradiso Place will create 792 apartments and will be grounded by an urban oasis encompassing almost 150,000 sqm of retail, amenities, and residential living.

For those who want to feel like they’re on holiday, every day (who doesn’t?), each tower will have its own podium level interconnected by walkways to create a unique elevated ‘seaside village’ for residents, as well as separate resort amenities. Just to take the lifestyle to another level, the towers also boast their own dedicated sky lounges occupying the entire 26th floor. The focal point for residents will undoubtedly be a unique circular infinity lagoon pool on the podium level, which will host the signature communal space for the development and will be connected via link bridges to the other towers. In a first for the Gold Coast, the project will also deliver a suspended glass-bottom pool that will offer residents freestyle swimming with a clear view to street level 26 storeys below.

To manage the flood of enquiries, SPG Land has opened the southern hemisphere’s largest sales gallery, which provides a sneak peek into the city’s new destination precinct. Apartment prices will start from $550,000 for a 1-bedroom apartment and $760,000 for a 2-bedroom apartment. Head here for more information.
