Get a glimpse of the Gold Coast’s newest luxury hotel, Dorsett Gold Coast

In a major boon for local tourism, the Gold Coast is set to welcome Queensland's first major hotel opening since the pandemic, the $400 million Dorsett Gold Coast. Located on Broadbeach Island, within the world-class integrated resort at The Star Gold Coast, the hotel heralds the beginning of Dorsett Hospitality International’s bold expansion across Australia, with three more hotels scheduled to open in capital cities in the coming years.

Before you go dusting off your suitcase and setting your out-of-office, just note that Dorsett Gold Coast is on track to open in early 2022. The eagerly anticipated venue is set to deliver a whole new level of sophistication, service and style to the 2-billion island masterplan, which will include a luxury poolside experience and a host of restaurants and bars. The eye-catching 53-storey tower, designed by acclaimed architects Cottee Parker, in conjunction with multi-award-winning DBI Design, will deliver 313 guest suites that have been created specifically for the modern-day traveller with comfort and innovation in mind.

Each of Australia’s new Dorsett hotels promises exclusive local twists, with strong community connections that reflect the unique cultural character of each city. The Dorsett Gold Coast will feature a show-stopping light installation by a local artist that captures the essence of this breathtaking newcomer. The 400-million project is being undertaken by Star Entertainment Group and its consortium partners from Hong Kong, Chow Tai Fook Enterprises and Far East Consortium.

We’ll have all of the details for you soon so watch this space. If you simply cannot wait, bookings for 2021 are available here.
