Go glamping in Byron Bay’s luxury pop-up hotel this Christmas

Just when we thought we’d seen it all, Flash Camp drops this Christmas cracker – it’s bringing a full-service pop-up hotel to Byron Bay for the holiday season, with 60 fully furnished luxury flash tents sprawling an exclusive piece of land near Tallow Beach. But wait, there’s more – the culinary masters from Harvest will be setting up an on-site restaurant and bar for the duration.

Yes, it’s awesome, and yes, the entire east coast of Australia will want a piece of this, so you’d better be quick – the exclusive pop-up hotel will be running between December 18 and January 8, which means it will be hot property for the Christmas holidays. Forget the blow-up mattress, esky and solar shower – this is fancy camping – so think comfortable king beds, bamboo furniture, Armadillo & Co. rugs, plus Biology Skin toiletries and fresh towels daily. With hotel-style service and direct access to Tallow Beach, this will be a pop-up experience like no other.

Harvest, Newrybar’s renowned restaurant, deli and bakery, is planning a series of share-table dinners and fun feasts under the stars on certain nights, with tasty eats like gourmet barbecued seafood and meats, and freshly shucked oysters, alongside a swag of vibrant cocktails. The Harvest team tells us that guests will be treated to a lavish breakfast spread daily, including coffee, fresh fruit plus glorious pastries and sourdough straight from its Newrybar bakery. Fresh deli sandwiches and salads are on the cards for lunchtime, which we’re sure will be followed closely by one of Harvest’s exceptional cocktail concoctions prepared on-demand from its open-air onsite bar. The exclusive pop-up hotel site is located at the northern end of Byron Holiday Park, just a short distance to the heart of Byron Bay – but with hotel-style service and Harvest pumping out its distinctive culinary goodness, we’re pretty sure you won’t want to leave, ever. So, if you fancy a dip in Tallow Beach, followed by a nibble on the Harvest nosh, knocking back a gin and tonic, then having an afternoon nap on your king bed in your luxury tent – get on this and treat ‘yo self.

Bookings can be made through Flash Camp online.
